Thalia is my name.
Hey,
My name is Thalia Wiens -pronounced with a silent "h" (Talia). I live in Port Coquitlam on the mainland. I would like to start by saying that I am extremely excited for CIT and this summer in general. I grew up in a christian home and accepted the Lord at a very young age. I have gone to church my whole life but really started to feel close to him whenI was in grade six. I got baptized when I was in grade six (eleven) because I really felt like God was changing my life. It was an amazing experience and really helped me to recognize how the Lord speaks to me. Currently, I attend a youth group every Wednesday at Coquitlam Alliance Church (my home church), and a youth group on Friday's at Coquitlam Presbyterian on Friday's. I also go to church on Sunday's and youn adults group on Sunday evenings (Ethos) and I lead a bible study on Tuesday moirnings at my school. My favorite way to speak to the Lord is through music. I love playing the piano and have played for about ten years. I also started to play the guitar this year. Every few weeks I play the keyboard for my youth band and it is definatly the highlight of my night. This past summer I also went on a missions trip to the Copper Canyon in Mexico. It was life changing and I experienced God in a powerful way. I would love to tell you all about it in person.
Just a few things about me: Reading is my favorite pastime, I was a competitive spring-board diver for three years, I love playing sports, the ocean is fascinating, ancient Rome is brilliant, nursing will be my pre-med, I love acting (film or stage), my two sisters are my best friends and my favorite season would be a tie between Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer.

spring board diving ? thats in the pool right ? haha...i know i'm meant to be a true blonde! I've been involved in competitive swimming for 7 years. Never actually seen any diving competitions though. I think it would be fun to watch.

Wow, are you sure we aren't twins because I have been playing piano for like 11 years and I play on my church band. I also love to act and sing. I think we'll get a long great!
Yup, like diving at the pool. Diving competitions are intense probs because they're so silent. There's the splash of the dive, then the two second applause and then silence again while the judges hold up their scores.
All I play currently is field hockey, but I used to play Netball, Soccer and I used to do Trampoline and Diving as well. Now, I mainly just get my fix in P.E.

i love acting and singing too!! film or stage :) the only real chance i've gotten to do film though was this past fall they filmed a disney movie at my school and the students from my school got to be extras... but i adore stage!!!!
i am also in my church youth band!!! so excited to meet you :)
