About me number two!
Hey! My Name is Melissa Lebus. I'm 16 years old, and I live with my parents and two younger siblings in a small town called Ladner in the mainland. I didn't come to know Christ until last year because I had grown up in a non-christian household for the first 14 years of my life, but this past summer, I was baptized on Sept. 13, 2009. One of the best days of my life! During that year, God blessed me with many people in my life, a home away from home, and he really showed me how much he cares. I'm just always so greatful to him for everything he has given me. There is more to the story, but I will save the rest for the summer, which is getting closer everyday!!! :D
The reasons I applied for the CIT program is that I feel I will gain good leadership skills, make many new friends, have a better understanding of the bible, and just create so many unforgettable memories! :) I'm so excited for this summer, it's all I'm thinking about! I'm ready for an adventure!
Other stuff to know about me: I am a kind, caring, fun person. I am happiest when I'm at my bible study groups learning Gods word or at church, and I also love going to my youthgroup hanging out with my friends who are just amazing! I also enjoy cooking and baking, drawing and painting, meeting new people, hanging out with my family, and just having fun in general.

P.S. again... If your wondering why it is called "About me number two" It is because I accidently wrote a first one, just not on the CIT page.
that is so awesome you got baptized! i was baptized january 2007 (grade 8) and i agree.. it is such an amazing experience...
that is so awesome you like art.. i am so artistically challenged lol i mean i'm into the theatre side of acting but painting, drawing etc stick men on my specialty ;)
September 13....that i do believe is the same day my little brother was baptized! and one of the times i re-commited my life to jesus. such an amazing day that was for all of us apparently! :)
Aww thanks ladies! You guys are awesome! Yeah, Jesus has really changed my life. I'm just so amazed everyday by the fact that God forgives.
Victoria: I do like art, I'm just a beginer though, so dont worry too much about it. Haha,nice.
Michelle: Wow, that's amazing! How old is your brother? Yeah, I know what you mean. At my baptism, it was a beach baptism so there were lots of us being baptized. What I really found amazing though is that there were really young kids, maybe age 5-7 years old, who chose to proclaim their love to Jesus through baptism. I thouht I was going to cry. So amazing!
Sorry to reply so late, I just got back from a school trip two days ago...
my brother is 13 years old, he was 12 at the time. i was also 12 when i was baptized.
