A little about me, I am 15 going on 16 in May, and I was very blessed to be born into a Christian home, and I have been a Christian since I was 6.
I love all sports, and I play basketball and soccer.

This is me in a nut shell..

Hey so my name is Victoria, I just turned 17 yesterday (April 16), I love Jesus with all I am and I am super excited to be a part to of CIT this year. I love theatre (watching and being involved) and my favourite song as of right now is "Opposite Way" by Leeland.

I went to family camp when I was super little, so I don't remember much I remember looking forward to it every year, the craft tent and making this goop stuff :p
I was told about CIT through a friend at school and church who did it last year. He had nothing but good things to say about it. All I kept hearing was how amazing it was and how much I would absolutely love it. After praying about it for a while I decided I wasn't going to apply because I thought that I should be working in the summer. Little did I know God had a different plan. A couple months after I first heard about CIT my parents brought it up again. We hadn't really talked about it a whole lot but they thought it would be such an amazing thing for me to do. So that night I went upstairs and prayed about it. All i heard was "Go". I kept praying about and with more and more prayer I become more and more excited. I decided I would apply. If felt so good finally emailing in that application. And it was even better to open my email at church yesterday after school and see that I had been accepted! (best birthday present ever).

I pretty much jumped up and down and told everyone I saw for the next hour. :)

Anyways that is me in a nut shell and my experience with applying and relying on God that He would send me where he wanted me this summer :)

Hello there,
SO I was just wondering if you guys could pray for me. (if you'd like.)

Since me and my family moved here from Mexico a few years back my mom has been really unhappy and she has been depressed and all that yucky stuff. She had a stroke almost two years ago and yea things have just been going down from there. Anyway we just put the house up for sale and are hoping it will sell and we will be able to move to a better town..and or even back to Mexico. It isn't really what I want but I want my mom to be happy. Anyway prayer request is that you guys could pray that the house will sell, we have people coming to look at it tomorrow so that would be awesome.

Hi, my name's Rachael Allen and i'm super excited for CIT!!! I am 15, turning 16 next month. I live in Coquitlam (BC) and i go to Charles Best Secondary. My parents were missionaries in Russia 4 for years from when i was 5-9. i guess you could say i was an MK :P (missionary kid). it was one of the best experiences of my life, and i'd give anything to go back! i live with my dad, my younger sister Naomi and my younger brother Mateo. i love them both :) I'm really involved in my church - Coquitlam Alliance, service on Sunday mornings, young adults Sunday nights, youth on Wednesday and a thing called Potters Place Mission on Tuesdays where a whole bunch of us go down to the downtown East Side of Vancouver and volunteer at a homeless mission there. it gives me so much perspective on my life and who God wants us to help :)
A bit about yo:
I am in grade 10 currently, favorite subjects are P.E. and Spanish, favorite colours are green, orange and purple, favorite food i would have to say is nice BBQ ribs - know me as the carnivore :P i LOVE sports and i play rugby (in season right now) and i am hooker. i also wrestle (season's over :'( ) which i came 6th in the province in! i also skateboard (my dream is to land a job @ west49!!) wakeboard and snowboard :D sooo much fun! hidden things you might not know about me: i love to read (i can go MIA for days when absorbed in a book), i was obsessed with archaeology (especially Ancient Egypt) and i secretly love getting dressed up into dresses and high heels, even though i seem like i do not :)

Today from Colombia Tomorrow Only God Knows

So, how are you doing? I'm guessing you’re as excited as I’m of going to the CIT. But where are my manners?!! ;) let me introduce myself. Call me Ernie, right now I’m 17 but I will be turning 18 a month before the camp, so yea, that is my birthday present. Pretty awesome isn't it ? My full name is Jesus Ernesto Moreno. But somehow everyone ended up calling me Ernie. Anyways, I live in Bogotá, Colombia where I study at a Christian school called ECA, you might know some of my friends that have gone to Qwanoes camp in past years. Does Esteban Rueda, or Nick Herrera ring any bells?... Ok, the best day of my live was like a year ago, it happened at my first year at ECA, next Sunday after a life changing retreat. To be a little more specific the 08/03/09 at about 12:10pm, something amazing happened during church service, a miracle, The miracle of salvation over my live. That day I accepted Christ as my personal savior, and furthermore, like my BFF. Since then I have been witness to countless miracles that surrounds us but are only perceivable before the glorious presence of God in our livesJ. It has been an indescribably awesome year, and I can’t wait for the rest of my life especially this upcoming summer when I’m going to met you :-)(I’m running out of happy faces.) As you might have guessed I love soccer since it is the most popular sport in Colombia and South America even, but I’m up to whatever.

Thalia is my name.

Hey,

My name is Thalia Wiens -pronounced with a silent "h" (Talia). I live in Port Coquitlam on the mainland. I would like to start by saying that I am extremely excited for CIT and this summer in general. I grew up in a christian home and accepted the Lord at a very young age. I have gone to church my whole life but really started to feel close to him whenI was in grade six. I got baptized when I was in grade six (eleven) because I really felt like God was changing my life. It was an amazing experience and really helped me to recognize how the Lord speaks to me. Currently, I attend a youth group every Wednesday at Coquitlam Alliance Church (my home church), and a youth group on Friday's at Coquitlam Presbyterian on Friday's. I also go to church on Sunday's and youn adults group on Sunday evenings (Ethos) and I lead a bible study on Tuesday moirnings at my school. My favorite way to speak to the Lord is through music. I love playing the piano and have played for about ten years. I also started to play the guitar this year. Every few weeks I play the keyboard for my youth band and it is definatly the highlight of my night. This past summer I also went on a missions trip to the Copper Canyon in Mexico. It was life changing and I experienced God in a powerful way. I would love to tell you all about it in person.

Just a few things about me: Reading is my favorite pastime, I was a competitive spring-board diver for three years, I love playing sports, the ocean is fascinating, ancient Rome is brilliant, nursing will be my pre-med, I love acting (film or stage), my two sisters are my best friends and my favorite season would be a tie between Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer.
