This is me in a nut shell..
Hey so my name is Victoria, I just turned 17 yesterday (April 16), I love Jesus with all I am and I am super excited to be a part to of CIT this year. I love theatre (watching and being involved) and my favourite song as of right now is "Opposite Way" by Leeland.
I went to family camp when I was super little, so I don't remember much I remember looking forward to it every year, the craft tent and making this goop stuff :p
I was told about CIT through a friend at school and church who did it last year. He had nothing but good things to say about it. All I kept hearing was how amazing it was and how much I would absolutely love it. After praying about it for a while I decided I wasn't going to apply because I thought that I should be working in the summer. Little did I know God had a different plan. A couple months after I first heard about CIT my parents brought it up again. We hadn't really talked about it a whole lot but they thought it would be such an amazing thing for me to do. So that night I went upstairs and prayed about it. All i heard was "Go". I kept praying about and with more and more prayer I become more and more excited. I decided I would apply. If felt so good finally emailing in that application. And it was even better to open my email at church yesterday after school and see that I had been accepted! (best birthday present ever).
I pretty much jumped up and down and told everyone I saw for the next hour. :)
Anyways that is me in a nut shell and my experience with applying and relying on God that He would send me where he wanted me this summer :)
I am so excited to get to know as many of you I can,

That is so cool that you love theatre and Jesus! I know what you mean by the exhilaration of being accepted and in your case on your birthday! I love and am involved in theatre to, I'm sure we'll be able to share so of our experiences with each other his summer!
I love your costume in the pics! What play or musical were you doing?? I like to be involved in the theatre too, but stagecrew wise, which is actually really fun too even though it sounds totally lame. Are you the one with the glasses in the pic?
What C.I.T. are you doing Victoria, one or two???

yeah, i absolutely love theatre!!!! this year we did seussical the musical. it as an absolute blast to do and the costumes were so much fun :) I was one of the bird girls...if you couldn't tell by the big feathery costume lol

I absolutely LOVE your costume in those pic. Mostly because its sparkley and I really like green. Haha, I'm such a child sometimes...

haha don't even worrry... green is my favourite colour lol so that costume was perfect :P only problem was when i got home to have a shower my arms were green cause of the dye on the feathers lol
and yah i sing too :) i love it <3 i'm on my youth worship band and then i sing for theatre too... may 7th we are doing a beatles themed lunch for seniors :)

That's cool!! Ohhhh wow! Cool theme! Yeah there are a few in my youthgroup that are really into the beattles so I might just have to tell them about that.
Ohh wow thats neat. How long have you been singing for?? I don't take singing lessons or anything and I suck at singing, but I just like to sing for fun. Especially in worship. I'm just carried away by the music in worship! Its amazing!

i have been singing for like ever lol just cause i love to sing but i've been involved in like musicals and stuff since i was like 8 maybe?? I took voice lessons for 2 years and i might start again next year... yah i agree singing in worship is just amazing. There is nothing like closing your eyes and having everything disappear except you and god. have you ever heard of cory asbury? he has really good worship music! i really love his songs "so good to me" and "where i belong"
dude i can't wait till camp! i agree we will get along very well :) i think we all will. we are there for the same main purpose...because we love jesus and He brings people together!! :)
Tis true. As one of my friends from church once said to me: "Jesus is the reason for the season!" In this case summertime!!! Soo stoked! Yeah, I'm really really excited to meet everyone too. There only like 7 weeks til school is out! then, Qwanoes!
Are you going for the may long challenge course/workshop at Qwanoes??? I think you should... :)

hey i was just reading your comments (sorry i know its creepy!) and melissa, i just wanted to tell you that i am TERRIFIED of heights...like big time. and i'm going to the workshop. they told me I didn't really have to do any of the things if I didn't want to. Just something for you to think about :)
