JESUS FOR LIFE! AND IF IT IS HIS WILL, DRAMA!

Hey everyone. I know my picture is a little large but I am still figuring out the unnatural phenomenon of blogger. Anyway I am so excite to see you all this summer, and I have been very happy to see some of your entries and how you are all living with god.
My hobies include drama and music. My whole life I have been an arts finatic. I especially love piano I started playing in a restaurant this year and it has been tons of fun. The lord blessed me enough and I was on my church's worship team when I was 12. The picture is of me and my friends Stephen and Jack at Drama Festival where we were doing some pretty sweet improv. I am the one on the left in the front wearing the converse and cardigan.

I was born into a christian family who was blessed very financially which I thank the lord for everyday. However, as I have realizes through my life, it is hard for the rich man to go to heaven. I have had many things come in the way of the lord and I some of which will never go away, I would really appreciate your prayers. There is a lot more to my story, but in the example of y'all I will save it for summer.
I starting coming to qwanoes 5 years ago and each time I have been amazed at god's work in others and myself. I originally applied as a junior counselor, but due to policies and the grace of god I was not given the job. At the time I didn't understand why they would want me to do something so newbish as CIT. I prayed and realized that my lack of faith was causing me to question a great program like CIT and I needed to set aside my worries to hopefully fulfill god's plan for me this summer.
So ya, I am really excite because I come from the small northern and isolated town of Prince Rupert, BC. I also hope that their our more guys going because I think it would be awesome to have some brothers and sisters in this amazing program. Anyway I need to let god look after that worry. Finally, I did my profile in green because it represents growth in god.
Keep Praying,
Matthew

No unfortunately I'm not doing the challenge course thingy (late response I know) I really wanted to, but my drama teacher booked our desert theatre that weekend. Oh the sacrifices we actors make for the theatre LOL!!!
